Judgment
A final judgment is a court ordered lien that is placed against your home or property.  This happens when a person fails to pay a debt and the creditor takes you to court.  If you have been subpoenaed to appear in court for a particular debt, the best thing to do is respond/appear to defend yourself; which then you may be able to prove that you do not have the resources to pay the debt and the judgment may be dropped.  If you do not respond/appear, the judgment will be placed against you (your property).
